Yesterday, we're supposed to be in Marikina Sports Complex for the SFC's annual Singgolympics, but because our nation is still recovering from typhoons, eh nakakhiya naman sigurong mag-celebrate kami sa mismong lugar kung san lubos na sinalanta ni Ondoy 'di ba?. Instead, the community had just decided for us to have an assembly in Lay Force gymnasium in San Carlos Seminary, Guadalupe.
Sinimulan 'yung assembly with Eucharistic celebration followed by a praisefest then the sharing. Isa-isang nag-share ang mga kapatid namin sa SFC tungkol sa naging experience nila sa nagdaang calamity at kung ano ang natutunan nila sa nangyari. Hearing their experiences made me realized how fortunate I am. Marami sa kanila ang nawalan ng bahay, kabuhayan, ng lahat ng mga ipinundar at kung ano-ano pa...but one thing they never lose is their faith in God.
